Girls Who Code (GWC) Club - Starts Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 1pm on Zoom. 

Girls entering 6th to 12th grade and invited to learn how to code in a fun and friendly environment!  Girls will work together to create their own projects using scratch, swift, thunkable, python and javascript.  No coding experience needed!  Girls Who Code is a non-profit organization whose mission is to close the gender gap in tech.   Learn more about Girls Who Code.   Please email Lisa at to learn more about the Girls Who Code Club at the Albany JCC.

What is in soft drinks? 

Kids entering middle school  can learn about the amount of sugar and calories in different soft drinks and how advertisers target kids.  At the end of the program, kids are encouraged to create an ad and get their peers to sign a pledge to drink more water.  Presented by the Cornell Cooperative Extension.  Please email if you are interested in participating.
