Throughout the centuries, France has had “a sound of its own.” Take a front row seat at your computer and join jazz & cabaret singer Gilda Solve for a live (from near Paris!) performance of songs that evoke the French musical spirit. Whether by Jacques Brel, Claude Nougaro, or Michel Legrand, each has its unique sound fragrance. And, “Oh La La,” they are SO French!

Songs & Stories: A Tribute to George Gershwin on Wednesday, December 15th from 4-5pm (ET) on Zoom 

Known as one of the most sought-after musicians in the United States, George Gershwin was a composer of jazz, opera, and popular songs for stage & screen. Many of his works are now standards! Join songstress & storyteller Gilda Solve to (re-)discover some of the hits from his shows such as, “An American in Paris,” “Lady Be Good,” or “Shall we Dance?” Sing along (but stay on “mute,” please) to the beat of “Fascinating Rhythm” or “Embraceable You” and many, many others.
