Senior Meals
The Albany JCC participates in the Albany County Department for Aging Congregate Meal Program. Under the supervision of the Vaad Hakashruth of the Capital District, we offer kosher parve/meat lunches to those who are 60+ years old, plus spouses of eligible individuals, regardless of their age.
Participants are encouraged to contribute to the cost of the service. The suggested contribution is $3 per lunch. Contributions may be made anonymously at the sign-in table. No will be denied due to an inability to contribute.
Adults who are under 60 years of age may join a friend or family member for $15.
Reservations need to be made no later than 10:00 am the day BEFORE the meal by calling the Membership Team at 518-438-6651 or registering online.
If you miss the reservation deadline, you may call and add your name to the waitlist. We will notify you if someone cancels their reservation.
If you are feeling sick the day of the meal, please stay home and notify the Membership Team at 518-438-6651.
