JCC CAMP TESTIMONIALS:
"Our daughters have gone to the JCC Summer Camps for most of their lives. They love the Camps, the camp counselors and staff and all the activities that are offered at Camp Olam and Teen Camp, as well as the trips that both camps offer throughout the summer. These camps offer activities, like boating, ropes, zip line and water skiing that are generally only offered at sleep away camps and they are probably the closest things you can get to the sleep away camp experience at a day camp. The camper to staff ratios are ideal and counselors and staff truly know each camper and provide them with individualized attention. The counselors and staff are also responsive to camper's and/or parent's concerns and/or questions. Through their experiences at Camp Olam and Teen Camp, we have watched both our daughters' self-confidence grow, as well as their athletic ability and love of water sports. They both cherish the lasting friendships they have formed with fellow campers, counselors and staff over the many summers they have spent at these camps."

"I love all of the Outdoor fun. I love fishing, canoeing, hiking...where do I end?!" - Olivia, JCC Camp Olam camper
"My favorite was Gaga, canoeing, and swimming in our JCC Camp Olam lake. I can't wait to do more Ropes!" - Ben, JCC Camp Olam camper
"I love every activity! I also love getting to know the other kids." - Rebecca, JCC Camp Olam camper
"As a mom sending her kids off to Day Camp for the first time, I was scared. Handing over my kids to complete strangers on the first day was hard. I wondered if the kids were going to be okay; if I was going to be okay. At pick up, the kids started to tell us all about what had happened. They didn't stop talking for hours. What stood out the most to me was a phone call that came from one of the Unit Heads from Camp Olam. My son isn't supposed to go five feet off the ground but he really wanted to try the Holy Cow Swing (Ropes Element). The Unit Head saw a spark in my son and took the time to call and let us know that he really wanted to try. I put my trust in the JCC Camp Olam staff. I am very glad I did." - Jenn S., JCC Camp Olam parent
